APEAS Fees for the 2025/26 Examination
- Registration – Candidates should register online via the the APEAS website.
- Registration Fee – £455 (to be paid by 30 June 2025) (Registration Fee is non-refundable)
- Examination
- Examination Fee – £1,175 (to be paid by 30 September 2025)
- Re-sit – See APEAS Resit Policy (no requirement to pay another registration fee)
- Re-sit Examination Fee – 3 Components = £1,175; 2 Components = £995; 1 Component = £825 (to be paid by 30 September 2025)
- Deferment – If, having paid fees, you subsequently want to defer sitting the Part 3 Examination, contact APEAS.

- If you want a refund of examination fees paid, please contact APEAS.
Fees may be paid by instalment – contact APEAS to discuss options.
Fees can be paid either by online payment (see below) or by BACs transfer to the The Architects Professional Examination Authority in Scotland account (please contact APEAS for bank details)
It is essential that any payments made are clearly identified by your APEAS registration number or your name so that they can be credited to your record.
