The ARB originally prescribed the Part 3 Examination in Professional Practice and Management as awarded by APEAS in 2003.  APEAS has been re-prescribed by ARB until 31st December 2021.

APEAS has also been successfully validated by RIBA until 2018

Registration for 2017/18 Examination

The online registration system is now operational and we would ask that you use this system when registering for the 2017/18 Examination.  If you have any queries or problems in registering please contact us at info@apeas.org.uk or on 01324 484652. 

Please be advised that the username provided when registering online is your APEAS registration number and you should quote this in any correspondence with APEAS.  The username is allocated automatically when you register and we would ask that you please do not change this (example: AP17-0000).

Following registration you will be sent an activation email – please ensure that you respond to confirm your registration and also log in to check your profile and/or upload a photograph.  We have been experiencing some teething problems with our online registration system, and we would ask that you contact us if you have any issues.  It is likely that the first time you attempt to register this will be accepted, although it is possible you may not receive an activation email.  In this situation, please let us know and we will check whether or not your registration has been successful.

All registered candidates have now been sent a confirmation email.  Please let us know if you have not received this.

If you wish to defer, and not sit the examination this year, please contact us before 30th September 2017.

Examination fees are due to be paid by 30th September 2017.  Candidates who have registered to sit the examination but have not yet paid the examination fee have been contacted.  If you wish to sit the examination and are having difficulty in paying the fee please contact the APEAS office.

All examination submissions will require to be submitted online this year and we will NOT require a paper copy of your submission.  The intention is that all candidates will be registered online and will upload their submission via Turnitin – which can be done via your online registration login (guidance note will be issued later).  This is a new system for APEAS, and therefore we require that all candidates also submit their documents on a memory stick which should be received by APEAS by Monday 27th November 2017.  This will allow, in the event of any internet issues, for APEAS to have a back-up copy of candidates’ documentary submissions.

We would also ask that all candidates check their online registration and upload a photograph and copies of degree certificates and letter of exemption from Parts 1 and 2 if you have not already done so.
